It has come to the attention of this reporter that Robert Gilbert, proprietor of Gilbert's County Line Ice House was recently inducted into the 100-mile club.  When Robert took over the County Line Ice House, he promptly became the proud owner of a Red, 1980 Sporty.  Since then he has taken a lot of kidding about spending so much for a "sign" for the Ice House - since few of us had ever actually seen him ride it. 

This was resolved when Fuzzy, Martin, Hans and a couple of other bikers put Robert on his sporty, placed him in the middle of the pack and shanghai'd him into actually riding for 100 miles. 
Apparently this was a good "shake down" cruise and it shook down every loose part on Robert's bike.  He came back to the 'line with a foot peg and other assorted pieces retrieved fromt the side of the road. 
Now that Robert has officially become an "iron butt" rider (or was that "lead ass"?)  Now we are waiting to see if spouse Diedre is a true biker chick. . . 

"Hey, Deidre! Do you know what a wet T-Shirt contest is?"
