Los Carnales MC Birthday Party

The weather was unpredictable as we left home headed to Bryant's Ice House  in Katy, TX for the annual Los Carnales Birthday Party.

When we arrived around 3 there were only a few people there so my immediate thought was "this one is going to be a bust!".

Wrong!

By 3:30 the members and guests were starting to roll in and it quickly became obvious that this was going to be a big event.  When the LCMC throws a party - they do if first class.  Not only live music, but the event was catered - BBQ and all the trimmings.

Everytime we attend an event with this bunch we see more chapters that have been formed.  When they started referring to the parent orgazinization as "Los Carnales MC, National", they weren't just  blowing smoke.  They are really a fast-growing club.

There was a lot of fun and merriment and at the same time people remembered - and missed the club founder, "Mad Dog".  (Note: there will be a memorial ride for Mad Dog on Thursday, March 23, leaving the Westscott at 7:30 pm.)
Other than that somber note it was one of those good news/bad news kinds of days.

The good news - we were invited to two different parties, each of which promised to be a major shindig.

The bad news - we couldn't fully attend either one of them.

In this case we had prior obligations to spend the bulk of our time at the other party, so after only a few hours we had to leave to go to another party.

It's a dirty job, but someone's got to do it!
